Equipoise is a steroid compound that can give users slow but steady gains during a cycle. It is also relatively safe with very few reports of the side effects caused by testosterone conversion into estrogen. For bodybuilders, it should be used with some testosterone as Equipoise can cause sexual dysfunction. Equipoise long-lasting ester means it should be used for a minimum 12-week cycle. It’s commonly compared to pharmabeast Nandrolone but pharmabeast Boldenone lacks progesterone receptor interaction and the associated side effects.

In order to maintain stable blood levels, Equipoise should be injected at least once per week. Equipoise is not a rapid mass builder, but will provide a slow but steady gain of strength and quality muscle mass. The most positive effects of this drug are seen when it is used for longer cycles, usually lasting at least 10 weeks in length. The muscle gained should not be the smooth bulk seen with androgens, but instead a very defined and solid look.

Equipoise was originally developed for veterinary use. It will increase both protein synthesis and appetite which helps when you’re trying to eat more to build muscle mass. It’s popular with athletes and has been in the news for boxing, MMA, baseball, rugby, soccer and of course horse racing.

DOSAGE & INSTRUCTIONS

While beginners can start at a low dose of just 200mg weekly, to really get the benefits from EQ you will likely want to administer no less than 400mg per week even as a beginner user to this steroid. Side effects directly caused by EQ and not by other steroids in the cycle will be easy to control at this dosage while providing the positive benefits.

More advanced users can easily raise the dose to 600mg weekly, but with this comes a greater risk of estrogenic effects. While higher doses can be an option it also comes with much greater aromatization activity with little to no positive benefit. Therefore, regardless of experience level the optimal weekly dose of Equipoise is between 400mg and 600mg.

POST CYCLE THERAPY

EQ is long lasting so if you are using it right until the end of your cycle, PCT will need to begin about 2 weeks from the final injection. If you are only using EQ for the initial weeks of a cycle then continuing with other compounds, the timing of your PCT will wholly depend on those specific steroid properties with shorter acting or smaller ester steroids allowing you to start PCT much sooner.

When finishing a cycle with Equipoise, it is often ideal to begin using hCG a little earlier than the onset of PCT at approximately ten days after the last EQ injection. This is then followed up with your regular SERM plan including Clomid or Nolvadex.
